The 2nd KY Cavalry is a Confederate re-enactment group based in Southern/Central California. We are a dis-mounted and mounted contingent.
It is our effort that we portray and honor those who fought for what they believed in. Historically we portray units under the command of Gen. John Hunt Morgan who was known as the Thunderbolt of the Confederacy.
The 2d Kentucky Cavalry is experienced in all types of educational programs, living history events and film work. While re-enacting is our passion we also particpate in Television, Film and Video work. We are a fully equipped and may be available for additional re-enactment or TV/Film/Video projects.
